IELC’s Teenagers Course is a comprehensive course providing a wide range of activities designed to boost the listening, reading and production skills of students. The course also focuses on developing grammar proficiency as a basic for further fluency and is supplemented with games designed to stimulate interactive and communicative learning. Students are given up-to-date materials and are encouraged to develop their speaking skills.
The course has appealing materials which cover interesting topics and focus on real every-day English. Grammar and vocabulary are integrated into all the language skills : reading, listening, writing and speaking.
Mixed team-teaching between expert native and non-native speaker teachers combines the best of both worlds.
Non-native speaker teachers understand the student’s process of learning English better while native speaker teachers provide the authentic source of the language.
Students are able to do further online research on topics discussed in the lessons. This gives more factual context of the topics.
GAMES AND ACTIVITIES
Specifically designed games are used to stimulate interactive and communicative learning. Students participation increases the level of comprehension.
Students are encouraged to use English in the classroom all the time. This creates a natural learning environment where skills are practiced throughout the lessons.
